Your tool in the Tech Stack Study

Your tool is cited by news publishers. Here is what you can do with that, and what you will never be able to do.

Every year, the marketing, editorial, technology and ad-sales teams of more than 100+ French news titles and groups describe their stack in the Tech Stack study, run by the Tech Stack association with the Sciences Po School of Journalism. The results are published in the directory: for each tool, its adoption rate, its users’ satisfaction and their reviews, category by category, since 2022.

If your tool is cited, its listing already exists. You did not ask for it and you cannot remove it: that is what makes it valuable to the publishers who read it.

What you cannot change

Adoption rates, scores, badges and reviews are calculated from publishers’ answers, following a published method. Nobody can edit, hide or remove them: not you, not us, not a partner. The study has no commercial partner; its partners are academic and institutional. No data about the directory’s visitors is sold or shared, and individual answers are never disclosed.

What you can complete

Everything around the results: the presentation of your tool.

It includes your logo, a description in French and English, a link to your website, a case study, the mention “listing managed by the vendor”, direct forwarding of the requests publishers send from your listing, and the Tech Stack badge kit (“Most used”, “Top 3”, “Highest satisfaction”) if your tool has earned one, for use on your website, decks and social channels.

The price does not depend on how many of your customers took part in the study, and it never will: we would rather you encourage all of them to answer.
